He understands, that goes to his head;
If you talk to him in his Language,
That goes to his heart.”

- Nelson Mandela

A special Assembly was held in order to make children understand the importance of mother languages.The assembly began with the prayer and std IV students conducted the assembly where in 13 children spoke 2-3 sentences in 13 different languages like Panjabi, Nepali, German, Arabia etc. few children explained that a language is far more than a means of communication, our values, our beliefs and our identity are embedded with it. In this way children gave a message that it is important to promote mother language before it disappears and with it goes part of our human history and cultural heritage.

  Im-Tribal Fancy Dress Competition
Tribal means backward, remote and forest people – this is what comes to our mind. May be their life style is different but they are excellent and skilled in ‘Art’ & live close to nature. To know the importance of tribal people in our life we had organized a fancy dress competition based on the  theme – I’m tribal for std I students. Students came in proper tribal attire with props and performed very well.
